2018, ITSI hosted the first-ever workshop on Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) in Africa. The two-day workshop featured the internationally acclaimed facilitators and authors, Glenn Whitman and Dr Ian Kelleher from the Centre for Transformative Teaching and Learning (CTTL) in Maryland, USA. It was presented in the form of a hands-on, interactive workshop, attended by 200 educators, school leaders, and education specialists.

Following on the success of the 2018 event, ITSI will host another workshop in 2019 that will explore the latest findings on neuroscience research and its relation to education. We ask the question: how do people learn and what can we do to improve learning?
